Exciting new features in the Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 beta

Create presentations that speak for themselves. The powerful new picture and video editing tools in Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 can really help get your message across and capture your client's attention. To edit pictures or video in your presentation:

1. Click on the image or video to bring up the contextual Ribbon tab with all of your editing and effects tools.

2. You can add artistic effects or crop photos, plus trim, fade in, or loop videos ? all without leaving PowerPoint.


Broadcast your multimedia presentation. With Broadcast Slide Show in PowerPoint 2010, you can easily deliver a presentation in real time to anyone via a web browser:*

1. Click Broadcast Slide Show on the Slide Show tab.

2. Make sure the PowerPoint Broadcast Service is selected and click Start Broadcast.

3. Sign in with your Microsoft Windows Live ID.** (If you use Microsoft Hotmail, Live Messenger, or Xbox LIVE you already have a Windows Live ID. If not, it only takes a minute to sign up.)

4. E-mail the provided public link to your remote attendees. Keep in mind that if an attendee forwards the link to someone else, that person will also be able to view your broadcast.
